MONDAY, AUGUST 25thH, 2014 - Jazzonian proudly presented the 3rd Annual Celebrating Charlie Parker Festival, Monday, August 25th, 7 PM, at the Bienes Center for the Arts at St. Thomas Aquinas, 2801 SW 12th Street, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312.

Jazzonian Inspires Youth at the 2nd Annual Jazzonian Youth Band Festival
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 27TH, 2012 - The Jazz Museum of Florida, Inc (Jazzonian) was very please to present the 2nd Annual Jazzonian Youth Band Festival once again at the Bienes Center for the Arts in Fort Lauderdale, featuring the following distinguished South Florida school ensembles: Parkway School of the Arts, Florida Atlantic University, Dillards Center for the Arts, A.W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts, and Have You Seen Miss Rios.

Jazzonian Hosts a Jazzy Fundraiser for Miami Edison Sr High School Red Raiders Band Program
MONDAY, OCTOBER 1st, 2012 - A wonderful Jazzy time at the Fish House to raise funds to help the Miami Edison Sr High school Band program Photo with kids that volunteered, as well as Glenda representing Radio Esperanza 1550 AM. Yesterday at the Fish House in Kendall for our fundraising concert.

A Wonderful Jazzy Time at the 2nd Annual South Florida Jazz Summit
SUNDAY, JANUARY 15th, 2012 - A wonderful time was had by many who attended the 2nd Annual South Florida Jazz Summit held at the Bienes Center for the Arts in Fort Lauderdale on January 14th and 15th, 2012. The event was held at the beautiful Bienes Center for the Arts in Fort Lauderdale.

Grand Opening Visual Arts Exhibition Celebrates Jazz Heritage! - FRIDAY, JANUARY 6th, 2012 - The Jazz Museum of Florida (Jazzonian) proudly presents the Magical World of Jazz Art Multimedia Exhibition featuring original paintings by the late great artist Charles Mills and international renowned Jazz and Latin American singing sensation Maria Rivas, plus works by veteran fine arts photographer Russell Levin. This event will also present a very special concert by two South Florida Jazz giants together again, vocalist/pianist Mel Dancy and trumpet/flute/saxophonist Ira Sullivan; also featuring two extraordinarily talented young players, bassist Russell Hall (Dillard Center for the Arts High School) and drummer Nicholas Newburg (North Broward Preparatory School) on drums.

Proceeds from this event benefited the JAZZ MUSICIANS' FELLOWSHIP FOUNDATION - a not-for-profit organization that seeks to help South Florida Jazz musicians who experience life or career threatening circumstances.

Jazzy Grand Opening Celebration at Arts Garage Helps to Launch Jazz Concert Series in Delray Beach
SATURDAY, APRIL 2nd, 2011 - It was a full house at the Arts Garage on Saturday, April 2nd in Delray Beach commemorating the start of "Jazz Appreciation Month", and celebrating the new partnership between Jazzonian and the Creative City Collaborative.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 5th, 2010 - First event JAZZONIAN unveiled its first multimedia traveling museum exhibition at the Joseph Caleb Auditorium in partnership with the Sunshine Jazz Organization in Miami 4-7 PM. Performances Hosted by James Chism performance by Bobby Ramirez Saxophonist/flautist-Founder and President of Jazzonian.

Excellence in Jazz Education
Jazzonian is very pleased to announce its 2011 Excellence in Jazz Education Award. This year's recipient is Mr. Christopher Dorsey, Band Director of the Jazz Orchestra at Dillard Center for the Arts.

A New Creative Way to Experience Jazz!
Jazzonian is pleased to announce its new innovative education program called TOUCH JAZZ.

Jazzonian proudly presents Latin Jazz Player: a virtual educational cultural arts initiative produced by Bobby Ramirez that is part of the Jazzonian online multimedia experience honoring the great musicians that made significant contributions in helping to shape the sound of this classic American music artform. Latin Jazz Player also serves as a quick one-stop educational guide for music students, as well as helping music teachers articulate and present Latin Jazz as part of a school music curriculum.
