Being a part of the 2012 JAZZONIAN Honors Band was a great experience that allowed me the opportunity to meet and play with other musicians my age.

The honors band is an excellent way for young jazz musicians to become part of South Florida's growing jazz community.

I am very thankful for being awarded a JAZZONIAN Youth Scholarship that will allow me to take my music to another level by attending summer jazz workshops.

I hope to play again with the JAZZONIAN Honors Band in the future and to continue my involvement with Jazzonian's exceptional events.

The JAZZONIAN Youth Scholarship was established to provide financial assistance to promising young high school and college level Jazz musicians, empower the next generation of Jazz musicians, and nurture young fans of this artform.
