Jazzy Grand Opening Celebration
at the Arts Garage in Delray Beach
It was a full house at the Arts Garage on Saturday, April 2nd in Delray Beach commemorating the start of "Jazz Appreciation Month", and celebrating the new partnership between Jazzonian and the Creative City Collaborative. Also, a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was held to celebrate the grand opening of the Jazzonian exhibit at the Arts Garage. The event was hosted by Ed Bell, Producer/Host of South Florida Arts Beat on WLRN 91.3 Radio.
Guests were treated to a Jazz concert featuring the amazing sounds of Melton Mustafa and his fine band. Also performing was the The Tucker Academy Jazz combo featuring a great group of talented kids.
"A big THANK YOU goes to all the Jazzonian volunteers and CCC staff. It was a team effort all the way," said Bobby Ramirez, Founder/President of Jazzonian. "We are very pleased to be partnering with the Creative City Collaborative and look forward to working with all to produce some amazing Jazzy events that will contribute to the great cultural landscape of Delray Beach and South Florida!"
