Jazzonian Establishes the South Florida Jazz Summit
SATURDAY, APRIL 16th, 2011 - A wonderful time was had last Saturday at the South Florida Jazz Summit. Our sincerest hope is that all that attended were inspired. Thank you for attending the 1st Annual South Florida Jazz Summit. Looking forward to next year!

We sincerely thank all the Jazzy benefactors, sponsors, panelists and everyone who attended. A very special THANK YOU goes to our group of Trailblazer volunteers who aspired to become part of something greater than themselves and asked a simple question: "HOW CAN I BE OF SERVICE TO JAZZ?" This event would not have been possible without you!!
We are also deeply grateful to Ed Bell, Producer/Host of South Florida Arts Beat on WLRN for demonstrating amazing passion and initiative to the mission of Jazzonian and the South Florida Jazz Summit; truly, an unsung hero! Ed was the recipient of the 2011 Jazzonian Lifetime Achievement Award.
Also, THANK YOU to one amazing Jazz pianist and classy lady Lenore Raphael who visited us from NYC to perform as part of the SFJS. THANK YOU to the fantastic young Jazzy band Blue Money Jazz Sextet and the FIU 2 O' Clock Jazz Combo coached by Jamie Ousley, Professor of Jazz Bass.
