Jazzonain Brings Jazz Where There is None
Jazzonian is extremely pleased to announce its new home for its trailblazing program Jazzonian Kids Club at the Excelsior Language Academy Charter School in Hialeah, Miami, Florida.

Jazzonian - Jazz Museum of Florida pernanent exhibit is located on the campus of Excelsior Language Academy k-8 Charter School, 369 East 10th Street, Hialeah, Florida 33010. All visits currently by appointment. To schedule a group tour or school field trip to Jazzonain, call 305-298-2380.
The Jazzonian Kids Club is a fun experiential arts education program centered around TouchJazz that inspires and reinforces family values, creativity, perseverance, positive self-esteem, freedom of expression, leadership, and community service.
Kids are inspired to learn about Jazz and music appreciation as part of various interactive fun activities—including: team-building, music games, drum & rhythm circle, music appreciation, drawing, dancing, singing, creative writing, poems, puppet show, theater, storytelling, listening parties, film festival, play an instrument, start a Jazz band ensemble, and more!
The Excelsior Language Academy Charter School has a top-notch roster of educators and is open to kids from grades Kindergarten through 9th grade from Miami-Dade County. It has a long history of excelent academic achievement.
Its mission is to foster pride in academic achievement while developing students’ abilities in the Spanish language. We believe in the acquisition of linguistic and cultural skills as an integral part of education and that language learning is best acquired in the elementary grades, continued in the middle grades and reinforced in the high school grades.
Excelsior believes that by setting high expectations for all its learners, they will have a seamless transition into post-secondary education.
In collaboration with its teachers, parents, community and administration it is the vision of Excelsior Academy to celebrate all diverse cultures and backgrounds with the vision that students become respectful, responsible, trustworthy and productive members of the school, their community and society.
Kids from all surronding schools are welcomed to attend Excelsior Language Academy Charter School, and be part of the Jazzonian Kids Club.

Proceeds from this initiative will benefit Jazzonian Youth Scholarship Education Fund.
